BCMA Sponsorship committee welcoming three Syrian refugee families in February

February 2019 was a very busy month for BCMA Sponsorship committee for welcoming three Syrian refugee families.
After receiving a Syrian family of eight from Jordan February 20 another Syrian refugee family of four arrived February 21 also from Jordan.
 Kasem Jedouri, wife and two children were sponsored in 2017 by BCMA and moved in Burnaby to join other Syrian refugee families including some relatives. On the same flight from Amman another Syrian refugee young man also sponsored by BCMA arrived Vancouver to join his four more Syrian friends at Whistler.
Mohammad Aljamous is one of four young men arrived through BCMA sponsorship with an agreement with the Fairmount Hotel in Whistler to accommodate and employ them there. Aljamous was received by his colleagues Fahimi, Ghaibour and Ousi as shown in the photo.
BCMA refugee committee considered that an opportunity for the young refugees to settle and start new life in such safe environment. All of the men are looking forward to bring their families later on when they well settled there.
