Jumua salah prayer at Cloverdale Museum

6-24-2019

On Friday June 14th, 2019, The B.C. Muslim Association (BCMA) initiated  Jumua salah prayer at the Museum of Surrey (Cloverdale Museum) Address: 17710 56a Ave, Surrey.

Sheik Sheryar Bashir was the khateeb and Ammar Zaidi was the Muaddin of the day. Around 40 people showed up for the Friday congregational prayer.

Br. Iltaf Sahib, the BCMA President gave a brief overview of this undertaking. The goal is to have Jumua salah consistently and eventually have a permanent place for 5 times salah in this growing Cloverdale community where many Muslims reside or work. Once that establishes, then we can have daily Quran and Islamic studies classes for our children and tarawih salah in Ramadhan, plus many more activities.

The local community appreciates and thanks the BCMA for taking this initiative for bringing everyone together in this noble cause.

Note: Every Friday, the Khutba will start at 1:30pm and the Jumua salah will begin at 1.50pm.
