'Tea with Tamara'!

It was most enjoyable tea time with a pleasant friendly young lady Tamara Taggart a former television news Anchor, a community leader-activist, and Veteran broadcaster, running for the Liberals, and the Team Trudeau candidate, in the riding of Vancouver Kingsway, she was in fact invited at the Masjid Ul Haqq (on 12th) by Sr. Zubeda Khairati and her group of women.
It was such an honor meeting Tamara in person and was a wonderful experience, quite different than seeing her on TV screen as an anchor for years.
Tamara, a wife and a Mother well known for her advocacy on health care, and her well known volunteer work raising millions of dollars for health care, cancer research and people living with disabilities.
It was also wonderful experience to listen to her honest opinions of human concerns and at the same time Sisters from the audience could put forward their opinions, concerns and questions face to face with her.
She very eloquently discussed the political matters for the coming election. She managed to explain the problematic issues of Environment, Children's education, Student's loan, Senior's and disabled's rights for sufficient comfort by better health care, better services for people with Mental health problem etc.
Which of course is also discussed by NDP, Green party, and Conservative.She also suggested that women should take part and participate in all the political issues, support and have more solidarity with all the women, as there aren't enough female running the political agenda.
Yes true, perhaps when we have a female President or P. M. the world would be a different better world without Wars, Guns and bombs.
