BC Elections Canadidate Profile: Mehreen Chaudry

Born in Ottawa, Mehreen was raised in Pakistan. She completed her BA with honors in International Business and Economics and MBA from USA. She has extensive professional experience working as a project manager with multinational organizations. Canada is the only western country to break into the top 20 most diverse, and she proudly represents that diversity as part of the Burnaby Community. Mehreen was a Candidate for the Burnaby City Council elections in 2018 with the Green Party.
I am running as the MLA with BC Green Party because the Green Party values and goals are aligned to the kind of place I want my children to grow up in.
For the past four years I have been a member of the Burnaby community with my two young sons. Being a single parent I understand the challenges and needs of young families who move to Canada. I want a better place for not only my children but for all the children to grow up in. I understand the need for sustainable affordable housing, concerns around the back to school, and climate change effects.
