BC Elections Canadidate Profile: Aisha Rehana Bali

9-30-2020

Surrey-Cloverdale: The diversity of British Columbians is one of the biggest strengths of our province. No matter where we come from, or how many generations back our families have lived here, those who call British Columbian home are what makes us great.

“This morning, I am proud to announce that we will be represented in the riding of Surrey – Cloverdale by Aisha Rehana Bali”, said party leader Trevor Bolin.

An immigrant from the Fiji Islands, Aisha has called Canada home for twenty-seven (27) years, and has lived much of her life in the community of Surrey, where she is the mother of six in a blended family.
Currently employed by a large grocery retail as a Supply Chain Logistics Manager, she is also a radio host and owner of Bula Masti Radio in Surrey, an online radio that caters to the local, South Asian, and Fijian of communities.

“I am proud to be able to have this platform of online radio, which allows me to be the voice of our society, and to help promote business and individuals”, said Bali.

“My biggest achievement, however, is having kids who are now independent, responsible, and who are well respected in the community”, she continued.

“I’m a people person who loves to coach, inspire, encourage and motivate people to reach their goals and achievements.”

Outside her regular job, Bali is busy singing, and enjoying time with my family, or going fishing, all of which she’ll have less time for now that she is on the campaign trail, and looking for the support of her community of Surrey-Cloverdale.

“My moto is anything is possible”, she concluded.
