Leave Our Kids Alone!

8-23-2023

On September 20th, Kamel El-Cheikh, a Muslim activist and businessman from Ottawa plans to organize a “Million Person March” to protest gender ideology and Pride month in schools. He is hoping to bring people of all faiths together from across the country.

Mr. El-Cheikh has successfully organized several such protests in Ottawa over the past several bringing together Muslims and Christian groups opposing gender ideology and sex education in schools.

“I am optimistic – absolutely. You know, if [there’s] one thing that’s going to inspire Canadians from coast to coast to go down and protest it’s the kids and their innocence and it’s families,” says El-Cheikh.

El-Cheikh is extremely critical of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for pressuring the Muslim communities to accept his radical LGBTQ beliefs and has taken a position that such ideology is akin to a “Fatwa” and sinful in Islam.

El-Cheikh also pointed out that school pamphlets are directly targeting Muslim students such as one pamphlet asks, “Can I be still Muslim if I am a queer?” and the pamphlet misleads the children stating, “Islam and homosexuality are not in conflict with one another,” which Mr. El-Cheikh considers “blasphemy.”

On June 13th, protests El-Cheikh urged Muslims, Christians and all other denominations to come together to protect the children by denouncing this ideology.

“You know Canada’s built of Christians and Muslims and all denominations, why not celebrate that?” he said.

“We can coexist, and I think that’s what absolutely these protests are illustrating is that Christians and Muslims and most Jews and of course a lot of common-sense Canadians have a lot in common. That’s it’s not what Justin Trudeau is preaching.” said El-Cheikh.

EL-Chiekh is puzzle as to why the school system and Mr. Trudeau are “hellbent” on teaching school age children about sexuality. Rather than focusing on education.

“Remember sex is between two consenting adults that’s a universal law right so how can kids consent to sexual indoctrination, sexual exploitation, sexual mutilation and all that kind of stuff? You know kids right now don’t know how to eat their lunch on time let alone go to sleep on time let alone all the other things that they need to figure out why aren’t we teaching math and sciences in the school?” he said.

El-Cheikh is assured the Muslim communities will be outspoken, that they are “not going to be silent about it and we’re going to be relentless … and that’s why we’re protesting September 20.”

He also criticized Justin Trudeau’s comment that parental rights were in some way tied to the ‘far right.”

“Apparently we don’t have the intellect or the doctrines or the Divine wisdom through our five daily prayers and our 30 days of fasting [during] Ramadan to know what is right from wrong.” said El-Cheikh.

Trudeau’s government is losing popularity amongst the immigrant communities over their LGBTQ stance and their anti-parent stance.

Many feel that the Trudeau government have their priorities all mixed up. Rather than fighting rising inflation, rising cost of living, focusing on providing relief on mortgage rates by better managing the interest rates. It is instead engaged in wasting resources fighting Canadians parents by imposing his personal beliefs and agenda.

The event organizers website www.ourduty.group provides information about the upcoming protest, as well as tons of resources and downloadable ready to print posters, sandwich boards, how to get involved, and other resources.

In solidarity with “Million Person March” and to protest sexualization of children in public schools and destroying the concept of gender, the BC Muslim Parents in partnership with other communities will be marching on Wednesday September 20th, from Bear Creek Park to BC Education Minister, Ms. Rachna Singh’s office. From 12 PM to 3 PM. Participants are urged to arrive at 11 AM and bring “No Holds Barred” placards, posters, signs, flags etc. to express their outrage and disagreement with the government’s stance against parents and children.

This protest is being organized by individuals taking the lead on their own without the support of the mosques, especially the leading Sunni Muslim organization in the province, the BC Muslim Association.

There has been talk on social media groups about the mosque committees not taking up such serious issue regarding our children. There have been discussions on the social media groups urging mosque leadership to step up to the plate to protect our children. However, mosque administrations “tone-deaf” approach to this sensitive issue affecting everyone has many of the community members puzzled raising concerns if mosque committees are not going to take the lead on this, who will?

We suggest that all mosque committees, BCMA and non-BCMA, appoint at least two directors from each mosque and form a working committee to ensure that BC Muslim community’s participation and contribution towards the success of this “Million Person March” is healthy and strong.

The lawmakers also need to realize that this one-sided imposition of present government’s beliefs to entire population could prove to be detrimental for Canada in a long run as many parents are considering resettling elsewhere where their children will be able to live and study peacefully without being forced to consider unnecessary sexual education and identification.

Children have enough peer pressure and stresses as it is, adding such sensitive topic to the curriculum where they are not mature enough to decide on life choices which they may come to regret in the future.

Protecting children is not only the duty of individual parents rather an obligation on society.

The “Million Person March” organizers hope to drive this message home to the federal and provincial politicians on September 20th, and make them understand, “let kids be kids” and let them make sensitive life choices when they are mentally mature enough to decide.

We all have a role to play in this and we must all make an effort to participate and contribute to the success of this protest.
