Eid Message from the Premier

As Premier of the Province of British Columbia, I am pleased to extend warmest greetings to everyone in the Muslim Community celebrating Eid al-Adha, on October 3rd and 4th.
British Columbia is enriched by the cultural events celebrated throughout the province each year. The Festival of the Sacrifice is a special time for Muslims around the world. It provides a wonderful occasion for the community to come together and spread the values of compassion and generosity, as well as an excellent opportunity to celebrate the diversity of BC’s culture.
As families and friends come together to honour the Sacrifice of Ibrahim and the annual Hajj, please accept my best wishes for a joyous and memorable celebration.
