Saturday March 21st was International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
"Race is man’s most dangerous myth,” and "racism is the foulest invention by man.” those quotes from Ashley Montagu and Kwame Nkrumah bring a profound meaning to our efforts to eliminate racism.
On Saturday march 21st, A dialogue on racism was moderated by Kamilla Singh and Indira Aryal at Kwantlen's Newton Campus .
Panelists included Jodi Derkson, Charan Gill, Tony McAleer, Indira Prahst and Sadia Sameeullah The event began with a traditional and moving First Nations greeting and prayer by Alana Anderson.
