Ken's End of Summer Community BBQ

The constituents of Fleetwood Port Kells braved a late summer shower to show their appreciation to Member of Parliament Ken Hardie at his first annual Barbecue at Fleetwood Park. Over 300 people attended the event despite the brief rain shower. The constituents enjoyed hamburgers (including a selection of veggie and halal burgers), kulfi and other treats. Entertainment for the children featured balloon animals and face painting. MP Hardie paid tribute to the wonderful volunteer youth who have assisted at the many events that Ken had participated in over the summer, presenting them with specially made certificates from the House of Commons.
