We are 'One community'

7-26-2017

"We are one'  song by Singer Faiyaz Khan was released in honor of Canada's 150th. birthday and showing his gratitude as a good Canadian by saying: " Canada is so diverse with people from all over the world and they have been accepted as one".

Absolutely, true as that reflects the Divine order too.  In fact 14c ago we have been told that "you are one community", but it didn't make much sense to me until I accepted Islam and tried to discover how we are one community.

First I thought it was due to the inter marriages but later after studying about other communities mainly the Muslim Ummah-community that is made up of many different tribes and what they were before and to which community they belonged to.

To my amazement I discovered that they accepted Islam and got the title of Muslim, but are still the same people, same tribes, with same DNA, and GENES, which means these Muslims consists of: Jews, Christians, Catholics, Hindus, Bani Israel-tribes of Prophet Israel-Jacob (AS), Indians, Assyrians, Aryans etc.

How wonderfully they are all intertwined and their ID is just 'one', by such reality it makes easier to connect with others even if they are not Muslims but we see them as the creation of One GOD.

That also encourages us to be the good citizens, be faithful to the country we live in and safeguard the land and its citizens. This is the meaning of title 'Muslim', it is like wearing a Badge of Security Guard to take care of all the citizens without looking at their color, culture or religion.

Happy 150th birthday- Happy Canada Day.
