100 Days of BC NDP

10-28-2017

Since Becoming Premier, John Horgan has been actively working hard to make a mark on his first 100 days in office.

From the start, it would have been tough to achieve any thing meaningful with a razor-thin margin in a coalition Government with BC Green Party.

On October 26 Premier John Horgan in a facebook post stated, “Our government is taking action to make life better for people. We’re working hard to fix the problems and help people reach their full potential.”

Some of the major highlights were in investment in education, removal of bridge tolls, making basic education free for adults, capital spending on services and traditional industries, dealing with issues of climate change and taking steps toward reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.

However major issues like Uber, Hospital in Surrey, Massey tunnel, Housing crisis, affordability, Icbc rates and BC hydro are either under review or still work in progress.

How do you think the BCNDP is performing with these key campaign commitments?
