A marital dispute is hard to deal with anytime but a feuding couple on a flight might be the last thing you would want to expect while traveling.

On Sunday November 5th-2017 An Iranian woman used her sleeping husband’s thumb to unlock his smartphone and discovered he was having an affair.

Times of India reported this couple from Iran had a very loud and unpleasant argument on a flight.

The couple and their child were flying to Bali, Indonesia, for a holiday after boarding in Doha.

After the discovery that her husband was cheating on her the woman  who had been drinking, repeatedly hit her husband.

Sources said the woman turned unruly and the cabin crew was unable to restore order.  The Flight captain was forced to make an unscheduled stop in Chennai, India.

Since the family did not have an Indian visa they were taken to a detention centre at the airport before being put on a flight to Kuala Lumpur.

“The Qatar Airways flight QR-962 (Doha-Bali) was diverted to Chennai after the pilot requested it citing unruly passenger on board as the reason,” an officer from India’s central industrial security force (CISF) told the Hindustan Times, which first reported the incident. “The woman and her husband, along with their child, were offloaded and the flight departed for Bali.”

No police action was taken.

Qatar Airways said in a statement: "In respect of passenger privacy we do not comment on individual cases."
