Discover Pakistan

On February 8th, 2018 The Honourable, Consul General of Pakistan, Dr. Muhammad Tariq and his team held an informative session at the UBC Robson Square, "Discover Pakistan."
The objective of the event was to promote Pakistan as a tourist destination. The event was attended by mainstream Canadians and members of the local Pakistani community.
The three hour informative session presented by Mr. Peter Langer of the Ultimate traveler took the attendees on a virtual journey to Pakistan and what awaits the would be traveler - from bustling cities, to majestic beauty in the north, and why tourists are now flocking back to Pakistan.
It was also announced at the event that Canadian passport holders, visiting Pakistan for less than 30 days would be given the visa upon arrival. This is indeed a good news and will certainly increase tourism in Pakistan.
We commend the Hon. Consul General and his team for putting up such a valuable informative session that is bound to pay dividends in due time.
