'International Women's Day' & 'Transformation'!

3-21-2018

Transformation and any kind of changes starts by 'speaking up' against any kind of wrong doings, evil actions, injustice, hate crime, wars, Humanitarian crises, violation of ethics and moral values in opposition to the Divine Guidance.

Obviously, it requires real courage of exposing and standing up against wrong and become a Whistle Blower.

International Women's Day is a global celebration and a call for gender parity, has been observed since the early 1900's - a time of great expansion and turbulence in the industrialized world that saw booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies.

'IWD' is a worldwide event that celebrates women's achievements, from the political to the social while calling for gender equality.

The time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.

Women's oppression and inequality was spurring women to become more vocal and active in campaigning for change. In 1908, 15,000 women marched through New York City demanding shorter hours, better pay and voting rights

1911,-IWD was honored the first time in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. More than one million women and men attended IWD rallies campaigning for women's rights to work, vote, be trained, to hold public office and end discrimination.

However less than a week later on 25 March, the tragic 'Triangle Fire' in New York City took the lives of more than 140 working women, most of them Italian and Jewish immigrants. This disastrous event drew significant attention to working conditions and labour legislation in the United States that became a focus of subsequent IWD events.

1911 also saw women's Bread and Roses' campaign.

1914- London-U. K. march to Trafalgar Square in support of women's suffrage. Sylvia Pankhurst was arrested in front of Charing Cross station on her way to speak in Trafalgar Square.

In 1917 Russian women began a strike for "bread and peace" in response to the death of over 2 million Russian soldiers in World War 1. Opposed by political leaders, the women continued to strike until four days later the Czar was forced to abdicate and the provisional Government granted women the right to vote.

In 1977, the General Assembly adopted a resolution proclaiming a United Nations Day for Women’s Rights and International Peace to be observed by Member States, in accordance with their historical and national traditions

However, it is not only about Women's rights but also about the courageous non-violent women of all color and Culture in solidarity speaking up against all illegal activities and achieving successful results of 'change'.

Their work reflects in young brave students speaking up against 'deadly weapons Guns', as It's bitter results gives shiver to the Spine.

'Glorifying Guns' in Children's violent Video games and exposure to such Movies, is bad influence on young minds, also agreed by U.S. President Trump and should be eliminated.

Similarly, the mental torture suffered by the young girls on 'Bachelor' TV. show, degrading women by the filthy acts they need to perform with the Bachelor in order to be chosen, and allow him to lick and test them every minute as if testing food. Such degrading shows too should be stopped.
