Surrey Community Alliance to contest next City Elections

SURREY DESERVE BETTER - Is the slogan of New Alliance for Surrey communities formed for up coming Municipal election.
Their first introductory “MEET AND GREET” was arranged on April 3 , 2018 in Surrey Central library.
People from many communities and straps attended the meeting and showed the support for Alliance and raised concerns over monopoly of one group in the city council.
Membership for Alliance started and many people signed for membership.
Doug Elford president of Alliance in his speech said , “We are here to address many issues surrey facing crime, home less issues, transit issues and development issues as the current council does not care, they pay no attention when decisions are made in the council meetings,.”
This shows decisions already made and they only care about big developers not the common people. The one party rule is not serving us but rather they are serving big money developers.
Doug also announced the officials of the Alliance as follows; Cindy Cadlglish- Vice President , Gord Savard - Secretary , Sharon goldberg , nina rivet , Asad Syed , Amman Cheema ,Imtiaz Popat ,Randy Fennell,Charlene dobie are the executive of the Board .
