A BC Woman's Racist Rant caught on Video at Denny's restaurant

LETHBRIDGE, ALBERTA—A heated exchange video of a Denney’s Customer was posted on Facebook on Tuesday May 8th, 2018.
In the video it appears that the woman was accompanied by her husband who was repeatedly telling a group of three men in a Lethbridge, Alta., restaurant that they are “not Canadian.”
The five minute video was posted by Monir Omerzai who filmed the whole episode and was part of the three men during the racist tirade.
As of Wednesday mid afternoon, the video has been shared about 6800 times with over 318 thousand views.
In the video the woman is sitting next to the three men and she says “you are dealing with a Canadian woman right now” while leaping across the table saying “punch you right in your f***king mouth.” “Excuse me! I was born and raised here in Canada. You are not Canadian. Your are not dealing with your Syrian Bitches right now.”
“You guys need to go back to where you came from. This is not your country.”
Monir Omerzai said the exchange started after he noticed the woman glaring at one of his friends and asked her, “Is everything OK?”
“She started going off. She just started calling us names, that we’re from Syria, we’re from this country, we’re from that country,” Omerzai said.
After the Police were called The woman went off to a different table.
“The waitress apologizes to her,” said Omerzai. “She did not say anything to us.”
“The police said for us to leave. They said there is no criminal code for racism, for being yelled at.”
“Manager says you guys cannot stay here. You have to pack your food and pay.
“We said we’re not paying, we’re not eating either. Thank you for having us here.”
The woman in the video has been identified as Kelly Pocha of Cranbrook, B.C.
She admitted to having a few drinks before the racist rant.
“It started with a look,” she said. “I turned around and I looked at the one gentleman and he was staring at me and I said, ‘Is there a problem?’ And he said, ‘No, no problem.'”
She believes they were talking bad about her in their native language and she couldn’t understand and she believes they were laughing at her.
“They did say a few things to me in English that weren’t very nice and then I got extremely heated and then that’s basically when they hit record.”
When asked by a global news reporter who are you, she stated; “That’s is not me, I don’t normally say things like that and I do apologize.”
