Alhamdulilah Jamia Riyadhul Jannah BC Foundation (non-profit organization) has purchased property at 27079 River Road Maple Ridge.
The intention is to convert the property to a Mosque.
This has been a long sought after goal for many years for the Muslim community of Maple Ridge and surrounding areas.
The property has been purchased for $750,000. From this amount $330,000 has been loaned to the Foundation as Qard-e-Hasna that needs to be repaid by next June 10, 2019.
According to the GoFund page Donations will help to pay back this Qard-e-Hasna, bank mortgage and cost of renovations.
