Here are some actions we can take in Support for Masjid Al Aqsa and Palestine

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever among you sees evil, let him change it with his hand. If he is unable to do so, then with his tongue. If he is unable to do so, then with his heart, and that is the weakest level of faith.” Saahih Muslim 49
Do whatever small thing you can do to become the voice of the Palestinians and other oppressed Muslims around the world. You may think it’s a small thing and cannot amount to anything. Always remember the “butterfly effect” that “the minor perturbations of a single butterfly flapping its wings has the power to set off a string of escalating events that can lead to the formation of a hurricane.”
If you cannot do anything, then at least try flapping your wings like a butterfly. Whether it will turn into a tornado or a hurricane. Leave that up to Allah.
Some of the initiatives that are happening in the community are as follows; We can lend our voice and support these initiatives by different groups.
1- Demand that Canada take a stand against Israeli Apartheid, and implement the recommendations of the report, including sanctions on Israeli officials. We must also demand that Canada condemn Israel’s assault on Gaza.

2- Support the NDP proposal to stop bilateral trade of all arms and related materials to Israel and End all trade and economic cooperation with illegal settlements in Israel-Palestine.

3- Signup for an open letter to Canadian newsrooms on covering Israel-Palestine issue by applying all the tenets of journalism to Canadian coverage of Occupied Palestinian Territories moving forward. Fair and balanced coverage should include historical and social context, reporters with knowledge of the region and, crucially, Palestinian voices. We must also demand our news organizations as well as our politicians to stop referring to Palestinians as “Militants.” Since when did defending our own home became a militant act.

4- We can ask Canada To Do More To Stop The Violence and Evictions of Palestinians. There must be permanent suspension of the expulsion of Palestinian families in occupied territories and stop the blockade of Gaza as well as commit to an immediate humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza where the infrastructure and health care facilities are on the brink of collapse.

5- Call upon the Minister of Justice to undertake a thorough investigation of those who have recruited or facilitated recruiting for the Israel Defense Forces, and, if warranted, lay charges against those involved in recruiting and encouraging recruiting for the IDF.

6- Call upon the House of Commons to call for an urgent study by the Subcommittee on International Human Rights of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development to review Israel’s treatment of children in Israeli occupied Palestine and compliance with its obligations under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

15- Write letters to the editor at all local and national media outlets and Create wider awareness across all mediums including social media platforms.

Demand strong actions, such as sanctions and trade embargo against Apartheid state of Israel.
Advocate that Canada needs to stop all Canadians joining the Israeli army.
Canada also needs to cancel charitable status of organizations that contribute to organizations that Support Israeli Occupation.
Canada should stop trading from business that are operating from occupied territories.
Canadian charities should also stop contributing to charities in other countries that are aiding Israeli occupation.
Ask MP’s to call the ethnic cleansing atrocities against the Palestinians as genocide and Declare Israel to be an Apartheid State.
Ask our MP’s to join RSF call to ask ICC prosecutor to say whether Israeli airstrikes on media in Gaza constitute war crimes
