12-15-2021

On Sunday December 5th, Jamia Masjid Aulia Allah held their annual fundraiser at Grand Taj Hall in Surrey.

Over 400 people gathered for the auspicious event and came forward to support the cause. The Mosque under construction has incurred ongoing construction invoices which needs to be paid immediately. The project also requires new funds for the next phase of the program. The current outstanding bill as of the day of fundraiser was about $250k.

Br Haroon, one of the program organizers shared the project costs and updates of the construction to date. Maulana Abdul Latif Naumani and Imam Syed Baddiudin Soharwardy lead the main tasks of inspiring the audience for donating generously.

By The grace of Allah almighty the donors were kind enough to pay heed to the call to build the house of Allah and were able to raise a little more than the outstanding bills.

Br. Raza Khan from Omni blinds was kind enough in support towards the House of Allah by contributing a $250,000 loan ( qardh-e-Hasanah ) for the construction of the masjid.

On the successful fundraising event Br. Arjamand Khan the President of the Masjid stated, “On behalf of Islamic Asscoaition of Western Canada and Jamia Masjid Aulia Allah I would like to thank you all for tonight's participation. In Allah SWT’s path you all came along with your family and friends to invest time, money and effort . May HE reward you, your families and your generations to come.

Once again we the committee thank everyone who came and also those who couldn’t make it but always remember us in their prayers.”
