BCMA Surrey Delta organized an Eid Fest

BCMA Surrey Delta organized an Eid Fest on Sunday May 8th-2022 in collaboration with Bcma board of womens Affairs.
Shabeen Khan Secretary of the Womens Council and Akmal Gundhra Director of youth of Surrey delta Branch hosted the event with grace.
The program started with Quran Tilawat by Hfidh Hamadullah followed by Naat by students of Darul Qur'an Institute of Islamic Studies.
The BCMA president Asad Gondal welcomed the community and Dignitaries that were present and thanked the Sponsors. Awards were handed out to long time community volunteers.
Among the dignitaries were Kevin Falcon leader of the BC liberal Party, Hon. Harry Bains Minister of Labour, MLA Rachna Singh, MLA Jinny Sims, Sukh Dhaliwal MP and MP Randeep Sarai.
Sister Mary Asin Chairperson for the women’s council thanked everyone who volunteered and Imam Qari Abdul Wahab concluded the program with Dua.
Over 500 people gathered for the program. Children and youth had a good time enjoying all the activities such as bouncing castle, basketball popcorn and lots of food.
