DON’T STOP TALKING ABOUT PALESTINE!

If 9/11 requires a moment of silence, then Gaza deserves that we never speak again!
For little over forty-five days the entire world witnessed the most horrific genocide unfold before their eyes, while the world leaders cheered Zionist Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while he mercilessly rampaged through Gaza like mad bull as if it was the Spanish festival of San Fermin. Rampaging through northern Gaza, obliterating it from the map, and destroying every hospital in Gaza.
Total number of individuals killed by indiscriminate bombing by Israel stands at 17,144, injured 33,830 by November 22nd. Number of journalists murdered, 60. Number of people displaced 1.7 million. Targeted health staff, 206 deaths, 236 injured. This is just the human toll, which Israel calls it “Collateral Damage.”
The infrastructure damage is another tale: destroyed units, 56,450, partially destroyed units, 162,950. 135 press headquarters damaged or destroyed, 253 schools, industrial facilities, 954, damaged mosques 80, churches 3. Finally, 22 hospitals, 55 clinics, and 46 ambulances destroyed.
What this horrific saga has made the world realize that the only free nation in the world is Palestine. The rest from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe are all occupied by the Zionists. Especially, the Western nations that pride themselves as bastions of democracy, the pall bearers of freedom, free speech, human rights, justice, yadda, yadda, yadda… are in fact the most enslaved nations to Zionism amongst the international community.
The western leaders have liquidated their moral authority to rule over their people. Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, has not only proven to be a disgrace to his father’s legacy, but also to the Liberal Party’s modern-day architects like Hon. Lester B Pearson who was awarded Nobel Peace Prize for averting a war by resolving the Suez Canal Crises, and by offering the world’s first UN “Peacekeeping” force over Golan Heights to maintain peace between the Arabs and Israel. Lastly, Mr. Trudeau, by abandoning Canada’s longstanding position of an “Honest broker and a peacemaker” regarding Palestine-Israel conflict. Mr. Trudeau has disgraced the entire nation in the eyes of the world. The unapologetic position taken by Mr. Trudeau has forever sealed his legacy as a Genocide Enabler. This is how he will be remembered by future Canadians. Those children who have witnessed most gruesome and graphic genocide on their smart devices. Children witnessing other fellow children of their age groups being bombed, suffocated in incubators, will never have anything good to say about Mr. Trudeau.
Allah has assured the believers in the Quran that there’s always immeasurable ease after the hardship.
There is a silver lining in all this. That is people around the world and here in Canada, people from all walks of life and background have banded together behind the Palestinian cause.
Israel may have been successful in expanding its territory by grazing part of northern Gaza. It has lost the war. People can see through the lies Israel wanted the world to believe by playing victim.
The hypocrisy of the western media, including CBC has been exposed. Despite the western media went all extents to advance Israel’s justification for the war as self-defence, and by substantiating Israel’s lies, and propaganda, presenting IDF as holier than thou. People have refused to buy into western media’s lies and deception, and they are doing their own research and finding facts on their own.
The BDS movement instantly shifted into high gear and Boycott of Israeli products and companies that support Israel have become world’s citizens topmost priority. People of all ages have suddenly become conscientious about their spendings to ensure it does not – directly, or indirectly – fund the genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian cause is no longer a Muslim Cause, or Arab cause. It has become a Humanity’s Cause.
Muslim communities around the world, especially in western countries have united with other communities to mobilize behind the Palestinian cause. This mobilization has made certain segment of our society very uneasy, because never have Canadians ever witnessed such large public protests, where individual from all segments of Canadian society is being represented. It includes, Jews, Christians, LGBTQ+ and is represented by cross-section of Canadian Ethno-Multicultural mosaic.
Unfortunately, individuals who support the cause and are leading the way are being harassed. Intimidated, fired, suspended etc. A non-Muslim physician in Ontario was suspended for posting pro-Palestinian message ion his social media account.
Ontario NDP expelled its only Somali-Muslim, women, handicap elected MPP, Ms. Sarah Jama, for posting on her social media page asking for the Ceasefire and calling Israel an Apartheid state (UN OHCHR – 2022) citing it as “Antisemitic.” Doug Ford’s government later passed a motion in the legislature, to censure her from speaking in the legislature as an independent MPP.
University of Ottawa suspended Dr. Yipeng Ge over his comments on the violence in the Gaza.
Peel School District arbitrarily suspended a revert Muslim Principal, Mr. Richard Ward for a pro-Palestinian tweet, in an attempt to silence him.
There has also been a rise in Islamophobia. In fact, the uptick seems to be higher than post 9/11.
However, the Muslim community this time around has national civil advocacy groups like National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) that has been very active and have taken a lead role in protecting the rights of Canadian Muslims. NCCM intends to open an office in Vancouver. We recommend that Muslims in BC must support NCCM financially to achieve this goal.
The Muslim legal professionals, Canadian Muslim Lawyers Association (CMLA) is another organization that have come forward to assist those who are victims of Islamophobia. CMLA is holding information webinars to educate the community about their rights and responsibilities as Canadian citizens.
Canadian Association Labour lawyers, Labour for Palestine, and the Legal Centre for Palestine have joined forces together to establish “Palestine Legal Referral Services” to offer legal assistance or guidance to those who are facing issues in their workplace due to Islamophobia or for supporting the Palestine cause.
We know these are probably one of the toughest times for many, but Allah promises ease after the hardship. We must not forget, no matter what we are obligated to be the voice for the weak and voiceless. We must continue the struggle to safeguard the rights of those who are being unjustly oppressed. We need to keep faith Allah’s help will come Inshaa Allah. Remain focus, Keep talking about Palestine, and have absolute faith in Allah.
