Friends of Pakistan Canada Association women’s wing hosted a spectacular event full of spiritual bliss and fulfilment.

The evening began with a few words by the Vice President, Shazia Noshad and thus began the soul captivating event. The program had a few very dedicated hosts who did a tremendous job.
Arjumand Hassany and Yasmin Ijaz lit up the evening with their beautiful naat recitations and thought provoking speeches. The speeches were full of knowledge and left those in attendance to ponder and soak up the sunnah and hadith’s that were shared.
Tilawat, Nasheed with translation and comparing were also done by Arjumand and Yasmin.
Zeb put on a thrilling performance with children who did a remarkable job performing to Tala al Badru using flags and a duff. She also recited a beautiful naat.
A renowned scholar, Lubna Abbasi was present and delivered a thought provoking speech.
Towards the end of the program, Yasmin and Arjumand lead a quiz game while asking questions about Islam. First preference was given to the children to answer the questions and each person was rewarded with a nice gift.
The program ended with certificates given to children who performed on a Canada Day celebration hosted by FOPCA and to the volunteers.
Lastly, the stage was given to the audience to share any feedback and ask questions.
The program was at Barneys Karahiwala. The food was opened at the very end and it was a delicious end to a spiritually fulfilling evening.
Our event would not have been successful without our very special and honored organizer, Dj Sham who was really kind to take care of all the sound system, songs and nasheeds played at the event
Last but not least all our volunteers did an amazingly and a wonderful job to make this blessed program successful.
