CGA- BC Quarter Century Inductee

CGA-BC hosted the 2014 Quarter Century Club Recognition Dinner on Friday May 9, 2014, which Mohammed Yasin, along with several other accountants, attended.
The event annually celebrates individuals who have attained 25 years of active CGA-BC membership. This year, 187 accountants walked the stage to receive their honorary award, and as they did, the CGA-BC chair, David Sale, shared a few highlights about what each member achieved over the past 25 years.
When Yasin arrived on the stage, Sale recognized him for not only building his own professional practice, but also for his devout dedication to community affairs. Sale also recognized Yasin’s wife, Nurun Yasin, for making the hard sacrifices she did to support Yasin in his pursuits.
Yasin’s achievement in the accounting profession is an example of a success story for the Muslim community and perhaps, in the next 25 years, there will be more Muslim men and women who walk across the stage to join the celebrated 25-year club.
