Wright International, acquired by the global MRO group FL Technics back in 2020, has officially received approval from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAAF) of Fiji and launched a partnership with Fiji Airways.
Under the agreement Wright International provides line maintenance services for Fiji Airways Airbus A350-900 and A330-200/300 aircraft at Vancouver International Airport (YVR), marking a significant step in the Fijian flag carrier’s North American operations.
“This partnership will not only strengthen FL Technics’ position in North America but also support the expansion of the company’s service portfolio and highlight the international recognition of the quality and reliability of its services,” said Donatas Dockus, CEO of Wright International.
Founded in 1991, Wright International is a Canadian aircraft support company, operating at Toronto Pearson (YYZ), Montreal-Trudeau (YUL), Ottawa (YOW), Calgary (YYC), Winnipeg (YWG), Vancouver (YVR), Halifax (YHZ), and Quebec (YQB) airports.
“We are proud to team up with Wright International – a well-established Canadian company with a proven track record,” said Thomas Robinson, Acting CEO for Fiji Airways. “Their expertise across Canada provides a strong foundation for a successful and long-term partnership as Fiji Airways grows in North America.”
