WRMA and Islamic Relief Canada Deliver Essential Backpacks to Local Shelter

The Whiterock Muslim Association (WRMA), in collaboration with Islamic Relief Canada (IRC), prepared and delivered over 50 backpacks filled with essential items to the Day Warming Shelter in Whiterock's Centennial Park. Each backpack included toiletries, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, warm caps, gloves, towels, skincare products, water bottles, socks, chips, and other daily-use necessities.
For several years, WRMA and Islamic Relief Canada have been providing these much-needed backpacks to the neighborhood shelter, where they are highly appreciated by the recipients.
This year, in addition to WRMA and IRC volunteers, Kathy Booth from the Peninsula Interfaith Group joined the effort and assisted in assembling the backpacks.
