Eight mosques. 44 golfers. One cup. And a finish that came down to the wire. The *BC Muslim Golf Association’s 2026 Annual Mosque Cup* delivered a spectacular day of golf, competition and brotherhood today at Delta Golf Course, as golfers representing *eight mosques and Islamic centres* battled for community bragging rights.
With 44 players taking the field, the atmosphere was competitive from the opening tee shot. But while the competition was fierce on the course, the spirit of camaraderie and friendship was just as strong off it. And when the final scores were tallied, it was *Richmond Jamia Masjid* who emerged as Mosque Cup champions — edging Masjid Al-Salaam Burnaby by just 0.25 strokes!

- Richmond Jamia Masjid — 107
- Masjid Al-Salaam Burnaby — 107.25
- Fiji Islamic Centre — 109.25
The razor-thin margin between first and second made for a dramatic finish, with Richmond Jamia Masjid holding on to claim glory while Masjid Al-Salaam Burnaby settled for a very close second. Fiji Islamic Centre rounded out the podium with an impressive third-place finish.
The prime sponsor was *Islamic Relief Canada, with *BC Muslim Sports Association and BC Muslim Association rounding out the sponsors to make the event a success.
More than just a golf tournament, the Mosque Cup showcased what BCMGA is all about — *bringing Muslim golfers together, strengthening relationships between mosques and creating a vibrant community through the game of golf.*
Congratulations to all podium finishers, and every one of the 44 golfers who took part.
