BCMA Surrey East Branch organized a soulful retreat amidst the beauty of Allah’s creation at Camp Jubilee Orlomah Beach in North Vancouver.
The youth got a chance to join an inspiring Muslim camping experience, where spirituality and adventure blended seamlessly in nature’s embrace. This retreat promised an unforgettable journey for both the vibrant energy of our Shabab and the wisdom of our beloved Shuyookh.
The campers got a chance to reflect on the wonders of nature with insightful sessions led by our esteemed Shuyookh and Imams who participated in the outdoor activities with all ages and various activities including kayaking, canoeing, and archery. They also got an opportunity to explore scenic trails and take in breathtaking views.
The youth got a chanc to build a lasting friendships with fellow Muslim campers and strengthen bonds in Islamic brotherhood.
The trip is the perfect combination of spiritual growth, outdoor adventure, and unity in Islam!
The program started after friday prayers at Masjid Ur Rahmah on September 27th and ended on Sunday 29th 2024.
As the incredible camping trip at Camp Jubilee came to an end, the organizers extended a heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to its success:
We would like to thank the amazing volunteers – your hard work and dedication behind the scenes ensured everything ran smoothly.
And a special thank you to our respected scholars – your wisdom and teachings will continue to inspire us.
This camp was not just an adventure—it was an opportunity for growth, learning, and strengthening our Ummah. We leave with cherished memories, new friendships, and a renewed connection to our deen.
