It has been one year since the brutal aggression on Gaza began, and in that time, the world has witnessed not only a political and economic stalemate but a complete collapse of morality and conscience. The international community, led by the United Nations, has failed to uplift the blatant injustice, the genocide, and the ongoing war of extermination against occupied Palestine, particularly the people of Gaza. The facade of global justice has crumbled, revealing the hollow claims of democracy and human rights that Western nations pride themselves with but fail to uphold when it matters most as some openly support the Zionist occupation, while others hide behind feeble condemnations..
What we’ve seen over the last year is the complete unraveling of the so-called moral authority of the West. They stand idly by, watching Gaza bleeds and burns while lecturing the world on freedom and human dignity.
“Arab Betrayal: Silence in the Face of Genocide”
But perhaps the most unforgivable betrayal comes from the Arab regimes. These governments—leaders of 22 countries—stand motionless as their brothers and sisters in Palestine endure a campaign of extermination. They not only remain silent but some even conspire with the occupiers, betraying the very cause that unites them in faith, history, and land. How shameful is it to see Arab leaders racing toward normalization with Israel, begging for unwarranted credence from a state built on the blood and suffering of their fellow Arabs and Muslims? These leaders have chosen the path of dishonor, abandoning Palestine to fend for itself against a devouring Zionist beast , a betrayal so deep that the shame will echo through generations.
“The Brutal Face of Israeli Aggression”
And what of Israel? This war has laid bare the true face of its military—a merciless, monstrous force that targets civilians, destroys homes, hospitals, schools, refugee camps and shows no regard to any life, The world has witnessed unthinkable atrocities meted out on Gaza: children buried beneath rubble, entire families wiped out in seconds, the elderly and the sick left to die under siege, even graves of dead people were not spared .
This is not mere conflict; it is unprecedented genocide of an illegal occupation, No amount of Western media spin can obscure the horrific reality unfolding in Gaza. Israeli leaders have revealed themselves as morally bankrupt war criminals, stripped of any pretence of humanity.
‘Palestinian resistance is one of a kind”
Yet despite the unimaginable horrors, Gaza stands defiant. The resilience of its people, the unshakable faith and their belief in their just cause, is a testament to the power of the human spirit. Against all odds, against one of the most powerful military machines in the world, Gaza stand “ flesh against steal- blood against fire” . The resistance with its limited resources has exceeded all expectations, proving that no amount of oppression can break their will.
Israel, with all its weapons, all its foreign support, has failed to crush the resistance. It has failed to break the spirit of the Palestinian people. And that, in itself, is a victory. Palestinian struggle is not just about reclaiming land—it is about preserving the dignity of the Ummah, defending the honor of Islam, and safeguarding the sanctities of Al-Aqsa, the footstep of the prophet Mohamded (PBUH).
“The Outcry of the Arab People”
While Arab leaders have betrayed Palestine, their people have not. Across the Arab world, citizens have taken to the streets in protest, raising their voices in solidarity with Gaza. They know that their governments have failed them, just as they have failed the Palestinians. The people see through the lies, the empty promises, and the shameful complicity of their leaders, Yet the Arab people—despite being crushed under the weight of their own tyrannical regimes—continue the struggle in their own way, demanding justice for Palestine.
“Gaza A Beacon of Hope”
The whole world is waking up to the reality of the Palestinian struggle. The streets of major cities are filled with protesters waving the Palestinian flag, social media is ablaze with voices condemning Israel’s war crimes, University compasses and even celebrities are stepping up to speak out. The courage of Gaza has inspired a global movement, one that will not be silenced. the people of Gaza might have lost their homes and their families but have won something far greater: the respect and admiration of millions around the world as Gaza has reshaped global awareness,, the losses of their oppressors will be far greater on the long run.
This battle is not over yet. Netanyahu continues to expand his war in a desperate bid to hold onto power, and the international community continues to fail in its duty to stop the genocide But as the Qur’an reminds us, " Although they plan, Allah also plans, and Allah is the best of planners". God speaks the truth,
Gaza may be battered, but it is not broken. every day that passes, Israel’s myth of invincibility crumbles further. The people of Gaza have shown the world that their cause is just, their fight is righteous, and their victory, is inevitable. Gaza had became the grave of illusions.
