Iqra School’s Robotics Teams Advance to World Qualifier!

Iqra School made history on February 1st, competing for the first time in the prestigious First Lego League (FLL) Greater Vancouver Qualifier in White Rock. Facing 20 teams in this global competition, both Iqra Deep Sea Voyagers and Iqra Ocean Engineers secured spots in the world qualifiers—a major achievement in their debut season.
Team Iqra dominated the tournament, winning four of the seven placement awards. Competing against experienced teams and overcoming technical challenges, their success is a testament to their engineering skills, teamwork, and perseverance.
Coach’s message: “I couldn’t be prouder of our teams’ hard work, dedication, and positive spirit. With the world qualifier just a month away, we are more determined than ever. A huge thank you to our students, volunteers, staff, and school board for their incredible support!”
