Vancouver Airport Chaplaincy OPEN HOUSE - SEPT. 20, 2023

On Wednesday SEPT. 20, 2023 members of the multifaith community were invited to the Vancouver Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy for an open house. The community got an opportunity to connect and know what services are being provided at the interfaith chaplaincy. Located in the international arrivals terminal the chaplancy serves visitors and workers at the airport. Rev. Dennis Kirkley said about 80% of the people using the services at the chaplancy are employees at the YVR.
The idea of the open house was to let more visitors and employees who are new to the YVR know about the services that available.
Currently Salat ul Jumuah takes place at at about 1.30pm. Shahzad Mansoory has been one of the longest serving volunteer Imam among others at the YVR since its inception.
