Leading to the upcoming Canadian federal elections on April 28 five Muslims organizations recognized the importance of uniting their efforts as a response to growing concerns about issues affecting Canadian Muslims which to impact the voter participation.
The Joint Endorsement Statement is expected to be setting the stage for impactful collaboration and increase in community engagement as well as mobilize resources, ultimately driving meaningful change within communities.
The endorsements have the potential to become a beacon of hope for collaborative efforts, paving the way for future partnerships which now has over 100 leading Muslim organizations reaffirm our collective responsibility.
Few community members have expressed excitement about the joint efforts through social media by voicing their support.

Among the many endorsements for candidates, www.MuslimsVote.ca stands out as the only organization to publish an independent list of endorsed candidates. As part of a coalition, MuslimsVote.ca has endorsed 22 candidates, notably excluding Parm Bains and adding Iqra Khalid. The joint statement press release hints that more endorsements may be released in the days leading up to the election.
